Collaborative categorization, where many users contribute tags in time will form an accurate and more detailed classification of products in the database.

Example (Hierarchical classification) : A movie may exist in the categories of : Sci-fi, drama and comedy.

Example (With tagging) : The traditional genres can be tagged as Sci-fi, drama and comedy but items can also include more detailed information such as places (paris, submarine, new york), themes (e.g. heist, drugs, kidnapping)
